This place is a nice place to have a quick meal and be satisfied with it. I've been to this place many times and I must say that it hasn't disappointed me yet. The portions are huge which would definitely make you full once you walk out that door. It's also an inexpensive place to hang out and eat with friends on a late night or cold day. The broth is really good, but it's usually a hit or miss. Sometimes it would have too much MSG but sometimes it would be a nice way to finish your noodles. Read more

I've been eating here off and on for about twenty years and the food is consistently excellent. My one complaint (perhaps more of an observance, really) relates to how noisy it can get with a full house. Once upon a time, they used to have a carpeted dining room but changed it to tile about ten years ago. Needless to say, sounds are no longer muffled. Read more

We wanted to get am early lubch, so got in at opening time, precisly at 11.00 and were shown immediately to a table, only one customer arrived before us. We got the menu and iced water right away. There are 155 items on the menu, so we read for a while. The server took our order as soon as we were ready and the meal was served quite quickly. This was good, because the place filled up by about 11.45. We were given our banana dessert before we had quite finished, but decided that was ok, given the crowd. Service is always a bit iffy (English is obviously a second language for many of the staff) but despite coming here regularly for more than a decade, through three decor changes, and ordering just about everything on the menu, I have never had a bad meal.
