The management company of our apartment building treated 700 - 1,000 residents to the most delicious BBQ lunch provided by BBQ Gourmet. We had smoked Texas brisket, Nashville Spiced chicken and Scandinavian Style hot smoked salmon together with other treats. The directions were easy to follow and the food was ample for two meals. I've only been here for the lunch buffet and I recommend it. The wait staff are helpful and the ambiance is first class. The buffet is a great way to experience Afghan food. They usually have spinach, chick peas, lentils, eggplant, potatoes, etc. in addition to the kabobs. When I've been there, they usually offer a couple types of chicken kabobs and two types of meat kabobs. There are usually over ten different choices, so you get a wide assortment of well-prepared and healthful dishes. Of all the vegetables, the eggplant is my favorite. I've taken a few people here and everybody has enjoyed the experience. One guy even said it was his best dining experience ever.

This is by far the best place for Suya in Toronto, Ontario. And perphaps the whole of Canada. Excellent customer relations and perfect suya with an authentic Nigerian flavour and the natural palm juice to wash it down. Oh! I have been ordering from other restaurants and the food and service was best so far. The service was although the best so far, but not the best you can get on busy days. But during Christmas days, the service was the BEST ever, because there was not just one server but 2, the younger, taller one with the better English was a great help; she helped me load the food on to my car, which was a great help for a old me.
The food that I bought was enough for my party (which had over 60 people), and was all that expensive for a group this size.
The place is very clean for a resturant, but a bit too small to fit a large crowd.
Another time where I had to put it on delivery, although there was a 4hour range, the food was still nice and hot, and the chicken was still crispy, just the way I like it.
Overall I would give The Sun BBQ a 5/5 (6/5 if I could) because it's the best anyone can get (especially during Christmas times). I would definitely recommend this to everybody, no matter how big the group or small, there is something for you to enjoy.

Dry Rib- Excellent. Wonderful taste, not overwhelming the meat, meat done to perfection. Was told it was more spicy than the wet rib, loved the heat. Had it with a nice Malbec
Coleslaw - best I have ever had. The sauce was creamy but light and didn't overwhelm the veg. Very fresh and crunchy.
Sweet Potato Fry- done nice and dark (double fried) and still full full of flavor but no grease AT ALL. excellent job.
Atmosphere- low key, dim lights and excellent music mix. Easy to slip into an indulgent mode. Very comfortable in the diner decor and the simple bell used to signal the next order being ready.
OVERALL - WOW! Will be back. Can't wait for patio season!
